Full Mattress Sizes

Full mattress dimensions can vary slightly depending on materials and collections. Frequently, in everyday vocabulary, you’ll hear the expression “54-inch mattress”. However, usually, the actual dimensions go as follows:

• 52.5″ wide by 73.5″ long OR
• 133 cm wide by 187 cm long

When to Choose a Full Mattress?

The full or double mattress is perfect for a secondary bedroom. Your guests will love it! Smaller than that? Not a good idea! Your guests are likely to feel cramped, especially tall adults. For a second bedroom occupied part-time, a full mattress and smaller furniture will do the trick. You’ll have all the comfort and quality of a master bedroom.

The full mattress is also suitable for older children or teenagers, who may be a little too cramped for a single mattress. The Queen-size bed mattress format could also be considered if you want to offer a larger sleeping surface.
