ISO 10131-1 and 10131-2 compliant

We are one of the few companies in North America to offer Murphy beds that comply with ISO standards 10131-1: Safety requirements and 101131-2: Test methods. To this end, they have been subjected to a series of tests by Micom Laboratories Inc.

The tested bed first underwent 10,000 opening and closing cycles with a mattress, without any issues. This is equivalent to 96 years based on the average use of our customers, or 27 years for daily use.

The bed’s durability and wall mounting reliability were also tested by repeatedly applying weight to the bed, without any breakage or anomalies. The mechanism’s tension during opening was also tested, showing that it allows for safe use, with no risk of unexpected opening or closing, while offering easy handling with minimal force.
