Shipping Policy (online purchases)

    • SHIPPING TIMES: Mattresses in a box, adjustable beds in stock, and bedding in stock purchased online are generally shipped via FedEx or Nationex, according to their terms, within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery times may vary for standard mattresses, adjustable beds, upholstered beds, and certain sheet colors, ranging from 5 to 20 business days. An estimated shipping time is usually indicated in each product description. In the days following your purchase, an email from one of our carriers will be sent so you can track your package. Shipping times for our Express Murphy beds are approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Other Murphy bed models are generally shipped within 4 to 6 weeks. Additional delays may occur during the holiday season, construction holidays, and public holidays. Please contact us for more details. Installation of Murphy beds is not included in the displayed prices. If you purchase your Murphy bed online and wish to benefit from professional installation by our team, please contact us.
    • Shipping is free for purchases of $99 or more for all items purchased online, except for wall beds (minimum $99 shipping fee). However, these shipping fees are deducted from installation fees if the customer uses our professional installation service. For purchases under $99, a $10 fee applies. Additional fees may apply depending on the territory.
    • Online purchases are available only to residents of the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, Canada. It is therefore not possible to purchase our products online if you reside outside this territory.
    • The mattress recycling pickup policy is not available for online purchases.
    • Returns or exchanges for online purchases must be made in-store and in accordance with the “Returns and Exchanges” and “Peace of Mind Trial” policies. If you made your purchase online and wish to request a comfort return, please fill out the following form.
    • Exceptional shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

 

Delivery Policy (in-store purchases)

    • Delivery is free for in-store purchases (in Quebec), except for wall beds (minimum $99 shipping fee). However, these shipping fees are deducted from installation fees if the customer uses our professional installation service. Additional fees may apply depending on the territory.
    • Delivery of in-store purchases is carried out by truck, directly by our in-house delivery team in most cases. However, La Place reserves the right to use third-party delivery services.
    • Delivery times for in-store purchases vary depending on the products. An approximate delivery time is usually indicated in each product description. Some products, such as bedding and in-stock mattresses in a box, can be taken home the same day. Delivery times for other mattresses, adjustable beds, bed bases, and upholstered beds can vary from 5 to 20 business days. Delivery times for our Express Murphy beds are approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Other Murphy bed models are generally shipped within 4 to 6 weeks. Please contact us for more details.
    • Installation of adjustable beds and metal bases with wheels or legs is available free of charge in Quebec only, fees apply for installation of platforms and upholstered beds in Quebec.
    • La Place offers professional installation services for its wall beds. Fees vary depending on the scope of the installation. Installation available in Quebec only. Details in store.

 

Peace of Mind Trial Policy (Comfort Guarantee)

LA PLACE stores are committed to offering high-quality products. However, if after some time you find that the comfort does not suit you, we will be happy to assist you in replacing your original purchase, under the following conditions.

 

100-Night Trial | Mattresses

    • The 100-night trial is valid only for customers in Quebec and begins from the date of delivery, shipment, or in-store pickup.
    • No exchange can be made during the first 45 nights. Note that the body takes on average 1 month to adapt to a new mattress. A 20% depreciation fee will be charged in the case of an early exchange.
    • No refunds are possible, only exchanges are accepted upon presentation of the invoice. If the value of the new product is higher than the replaced product, the customer pays the difference. If the value of the new product is lower, a credit will be applied to the customer’s account.
    • Exchange fees apply.
    • The purchase of a mattress protector on the same invoice as your mattress is mandatory to benefit from the 100-night trial program, as the mattress to be replaced must be in perfect condition, free of stains or odors, and must not have suffered any physical damage. LA PLACE reserves the right to refuse any mattress that does not meet these conditions.
    • This trial period does not apply to special sizes, floor models, or final sale mattresses.
    • One exchange per purchase, per customer.
    • In-store exchange only.

Product Warranty Policy

  • All products offered at La Place are covered by an advantageous warranty ranging from 1 to 25 years. Details in store.
  • If you have purchased a product from LA PLACE, you can register using our web form to receive all necessary information by email.
  • For a warranty exchange request for a defective product, you must first fill out the following form (click here). Please read the information preceding the form carefully and answer the questions step by step to display all fields. If you do not complete this form and request that our team visit your home directly to inspect your product, a $99 fee will apply before the inspection, which will be refunded if the product meets our partners’ return conditions.

 

Returns and Exchanges Policy

    • No refunds are possible, except for accessories (pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, pillow protectors, etc.), which may be returned in-store within 30 days of delivery or pickup, provided they have not been opened.
    • No exchange or refund on any opened items, floor models, or final sale items. Warranty on floor models and clearance items remains valid.
    • Final sale on all special orders / non-standard sizes.
    • Returns or exchanges for online purchases must be made in-store.
    • If you made your purchase online and wish to request a comfort return, please fill out the following form.
    • Shipping fees are non-refundable. Details in store.
